Chintz Pattern Trend 2023

Chintz is a trend that has been on the rise for a few years, but this season it seems to be everywhere. The color palette is large and bold, and the prints are varied. Chintz is also making a comeback in some unexpected places—from high street fashion brands to luxury houses. Miles Redd, Kathryn M. Ireland, and other big names declared the return of chintz for 2018 and this season, chintz has broken out in a big way. The story of chintz was first made from cotton, but later it was made from silk and wool. The fabric was popular in Europe during the 18th and 19th centuries, when it became known as “chintz.” Chintz is also called “cotton chintz” or “cotton muslin.” Chintz is a kind of fabric that uses natural dyes to create patterns on the cloth. The chintz cloth usually has a plain or a patterned fabric on one side and then the other side is finished with embroidery or a design to make it look more beautiful. Most of the time, people use chintz as an accessory because it can fit into any kind of outfit you have in mind and match it up well with other items like your shoes and bags as well.

Adding chintz doesn’t have to be chintzy. Thinking about incorporating some chintz into your space? Rumacorak has chintz design “Chintz Ribbon Floral” pattern that mix floral and ribbon into romantic chintz. This pattern ready on Patternbank (link below).
